•The Leather Straps secure the Windlass to the saw handles, which lock them in the closed position.

•The Frame is crafted from either Walnut or Mahogany hardwood for superior durability, strength, and rot resistance, while achieving a lighter weight than traditional maple or oak saws.

•The Grips are finely hand sanded into an ergonomic shape, for endless sawing comfort with no hot spots.

•The 21" Bahco Dry Wood Sawblade is long lasting and razor sharp out-of-the-box. You may add a Green Wood blade if you prefer that style.

Care Instructions

ASSEMBLY:
For proper tension, wind windlass 9-11 rotations until the blade is tight. (it should not bend while sawing)

MAINTAINANCE:

For best results, use our Bucksaw Butter wax on wood and leather.


STORAGE:

Dry off a wet saw / blade prior to storage.

When not in use, leave the string de-tentioned.

Not usable

Can’t open the saw to use without using a hammer to knock the tightener out. Haven’t been able put the tightener back under the leather. It sits on a shelf unused. Nice construction though. Basically a waste of money for me. [****], still going to keep, it is very pretty wall hanger.
