Explore Our Story
Aside from a place of learning, exploring and expanding your craft, The Bear Essentials Co. creates heirloom quality products that we consider functional art.
The most famous product we have is the Original Hand Crafted Bucksaw. A family heirloom, to be passed down throughout generations and generations
Of course, it was my love for the outdoors that inspired the idea for the Bucksaw. I still craft every one by hand, but the era of the bucksaw will soon come to an end as I move on to develop new products and help provide a larger impact with my knowledge share.
2017
The Start of It All
The first prototype saws were made with my Grampa Norman. He taught me about woodworking, and more importantly about life itself.

The Bear Essentials Community
In 2017, I took my idea of the Bucksaw to the man who would know what do to with it- my grandfather. He taught me everything I know, he not only inspired this company but he inspires me every day. With countless hours of trial and error, improvement and figuring it all out the Bear Essentials Company has evolved into what it is today. I am very thankful and excited to see it continue to grow.
